Pure, Organically and Responsibly Grown and Gathered - Herbs are either grown right here on our energized and sustainable farm in New York State and dried in small batches by hand or they are purchased in from Mountain Rose Herbs.

We do a variety of herbal products here that we ourselves depend on for everyday use. Because everything is done in small batches, we only have small numbers of each product in stock and you'll see a rotating set of products available.

Herbal Salves are marvelous healing forces. We infuse our herbs into high quality oils like Cold Pressed Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, or Coconut Oil. The oil soluble plant medicinals are drawn out of the dried herb matter and into the oil. We then mix the infused herbal oil with organic beeswax and essential oils to create a salve that rubs into the skin easily and smells great.

Much of what we apply to our skin is absorbed into our bodily systems. Using clean and simple herbal salves is safe and truly supportive to our system as well as our skin. These herbal salves are recipes we have been using for years and are dependable and remarkably healing.

Note - we use no preservatives or stabilizers in our salves. The herbs themselves act as preservatives as well as the essential oils. I also add some Vitamin E - in the form of d-alpha tocopherol. They will last for over a year if stored properly. If you are not planning to use them within a month, refrigeration is best for long term storage. They won't go bad - they will just get weaker.

They will melt if left in a hot car or in the direct sun. We don't recommend freezing them.

You may find bits and pieces of herb in your salve - and sometimes I add powdered herbs to the salves.
